If you haven't yet checked out my Substack, it's a space where I share more personal insights on self-care, motherhood, wellness, and more. This post was a hit there, so I wanted to bring a snippet for you!

I adore the concept of a personal uniform. Walking into my closet should mean every piece is something I truly value—nothing that sits there gathering dust, just items I'm eager to wear regularly.

This year, I'm all about simplifying life, which reflects in my wardrobe choices. I'm dressing based on how I want to feel each day, rather than what my schedule demands. This shift has made choosing outfits far less stressful.

Currently, my focus is on being comfortable and confident with ease. Think well-loved jeans, cozy sweaters, fitted tees, and neutral hues. It's not about sacrificing style—it's about dressing intentionally without overanalyzing. Many seem to resonate with this vibe, especially given the buzz around Carolyn Bessette's minimalist wardrobe.

I've realized that the items I constantly reach for share two key traits: high-quality fabrics and excellent fit. Nail those, and you'll look chic, regardless of the price tag. Those are my main style principles these days.

At the beginning of each year, I reassess my wardrobe. I gather inspiration on Pinterest, create a mood board in Canva, and select a few words that embody how I want to feel in my outfits. For 2026, my chosen words are effortless, classic, and alive—ensuring versatility in my clothing. When considering new items, I measure them against these words to avoid impulsive purchases.

Next, I explore my closet! I believe in gradually building a wardrobe—adding pieces with intention instead of overhauling everything each season. Once I identify what aligns with my vision, I can strategically fill in any gaps.
