What’s the first thing you do upon waking?

I kick off my day with a glass bottle of water beside my bed, ready to hydrate... or I may reach for my phone.

When do you usually rise?

I’ve been more consistent with my sleep lately, aiming for eight hours, though I typically manage around seven. My body generally wakes around 6:30 or 7:30 a.m., often prompted by our cats Jasper and Luna demanding breakfast. This leads me to my next task: feeding our three cats, Jasper, JiJi, and Luna.

What morning rituals prepare you for success?

After feeding the cats, I set the living room ambiance with incense and open the curtains for Yoga With Adriene.

Do you have a breakfast routine?

Before breakfast, I clear out clean dishes from the dishwasher and tackle any dirty ones left from the night before. A tidy home in the morning brings me peace.

Then it’s time for my favorite part: breakfast! I’m not much for coffee due to anxiety from caffeine, so I prefer tea. I start my Fellow kettle for hot water while planning breakfast, all while enjoying my favorite YouTube channels in the background.

What does your morning beauty routine look like?

How does storytelling influence your visual projects?

Every time I’m asked this, I laugh because I wear many hats. However, my greatest joys come from being a photographer and video producer. Photography allows me to connect deeply with subjects, showcasing their authentic selves. Capturing those tender moments brings immense joy, especially when clients are surprised by our creations.

Documenting nature's beauty also satisfies me, as we can't reclaim those fleeting moments. Yet, we can relive memories through our imagination. I relish how an image or video can evoke uplifting emotions.

What’s been your biggest growth in the past year?

I've become more attuned to my body and discovered the power of breath in harmonizing my mind, body, and spirit.

If you had an additional hour every morning, how would you spend it?

Simply put: gardening.
