This year’s Full Moon Feast brought delightful surprises, especially this spooky mezcal cocktail. Crafted by talented bartenders specifically for the occasion, this striking purple drink is as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate. “For a long time, mezcal was a challenge for bartenders, mainly due to its high cost, which limited our ability to explore it,” shares Sarah Little, Bar Operations Director. “Traditionally, mezcal was serious in both taste and price. Recently, though, mezcal has become more accessible, thanks to brands like Kimo Sabe and Casamigos. This shift has made it easier to incorporate mezcal into cocktails, adding a fun twist. With our upcoming artisanal agave bar, mezcal has become a key focus here. This cocktail features chilled Kimo Sabe, infused cucumber vodka, fresh lemon juice, and blue webber agave. The vibrant color is created using activated charcoal, while dry ice adds a smoky visual effect that enhances the mezcal's natural smokiness.” Enjoy the recipe for this unique drink:
