Who else loves those heartwarming holiday movie moments when families arrive at a beautifully decorated home? The scene is often set by a grand wreath and twinkling lights, inviting everyone to shake off the winter chill and cozy up indoors.
A festive front door adorned for the holidays creates such a welcoming vibe, and this year, I decided to elevate mine.
Building on my nature-inspired theme from inside, I brought that woodland charm outside. I used greenery, pinecones, and sparkling lights to craft a classic look that showcases my appreciation for organic decor. A talented artist crafted a stunning mixed evergreen garland to drape over the entrance, complemented by a matching wreath.

My front door is quite expansive, and in previous years, I struggled to find decor that made a statement. I've discovered that using fewer, but larger elements—like greenery, lanterns, and mini Christmas trees—maximizes impact. It's all about scale! The garland was secured with clear suction cups and floral wire, while the wreath was double-sided to ensure it looks just as beautiful from inside as it does from outside.

To round out the porch, I added a few faux pre-lit trees, wrapped in burlap, and lined the steps with lanterns filled with battery-operated candles. These lanterns automatically light up at dusk, creating a magical glow each evening.
