2 large shallots, finely chopped
kosher salt, McCormick Ground Black Pepper, a pinch of sugar
1 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tsp McCormick Gourmet Organic Za'atar, plus extra for garnish
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp minced cilantro, with additional leaves for garnish
roasted broccoli and pita chips for serving
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add shallots, seasoning with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Cook while stirring occasionally until shallots become golden and tender, about 15 minutes, then let cool.
2. Combine shallots, orange juice, and za'atar with yogurt in a medium bowl. Fold in cilantro, then garnish with cilantro leaves and a sprinkle of za'atar. Serve alongside roasted broccoli and pita chips.
